I'm traveling to WDW in april 2009, with my 3 year old daugt, I was wondering if you could give me ideas of which are the best character dinning, we want to attend to some but are wondering which ones are the best?

    Hi Luz Elena,

My guess is that your three-year old would love any of the character dining experiences.  Each one is really amazing, so ensure you have a camera accessible at all times!  Here are some of my kids' favorites:

    • If your daughter is a Playhouse Disney fan, then Play n' Dine at Hollywood Studios is a must see.  While dining on an all-you-can-eat buffet of either breakfast or lunch food, she will be entertained by some friends from the Little Einsteins and JoJo's Circus.  There are also cast members who put on a little show with Playhouse Disney songs and dances, including the 'Hot Dog" song from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
    • Chef Mickey's might be the most quintessential Disney character experience.  It's located at the Contemporary Hotel and is a great way to start, end or break-up a visit to the Magic Kingdom.  Chef Mickey, Minnie, Donald and their friends visit tables in a very celebratory experience.  There's a great "make your own sundae bar" that delights most kids.
    • Breakfast at Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club features Minnie, Chip & Dale and Goofy in their "beach-ware".  The selection of food is excellent, and usually includes fresh berries.
    • If your daughter loves Pooh, then the Crystal Palace is your experience of choice.  In this beautiful solarium, Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and friends move from table to table and lead a parade of kids around the restaurant.
    • Finally, if your princess likes princesses and  Cinderella's Royal Table is booked, 1900 Park Fare or Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at the Norway Pavilion are great alternative places to see her regally-dressed friends.

Whatever you chose, have a wonderful vacation!
