I'm traveling to WDW with my almost-2 year old. I want to be prepared with some small toys/games for the times we do have to wait in line, but I'm wondering what I do when it's time to ride. Can I bring a small bag on the rides with me?

Hi Nicole! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

How exciting to be traveling to Walt Disney World Resort with your almost 2 year old, what a magical age! By taking advantage of Disney’s FastPass+ service, you will see that wait times should be minimal. However, some attractions might still have a bit of a wait and being prepared is a fantastic idea! I am happy to tell you that most attractions and rides will allow Guests to bring their bags on board with them. Depending on the attraction, some have baskets for you to place your bag, or others will have floor space to place your belongings. If ever it does not fit, just let a friendly Cast Member know and they can advise you on what to do.

Seeing as though you are traveling with a younger child, keep in mind that Walt Disney World Resort offers the Rider Switch Service for rides which your little one might not yet be ready. Disney also has a great website for planning a trip with young children!

    Have a magical day,
