Im traveling with my toddler & mother in law. Mom is unable to stand in que lines. If we use a disability card for ride access will we be able to do rider swap for rides with height restrictions or will one of us have to miss out on the attraction?

Hello, Katie! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We’re glad to help answer it for you!

I was recently at Magic Kingdom with a sweet friend with a disability pass and my two children, one of which is not quite tall enough yet to do some of the rides there, so I experienced this first hand. You will be glad to know that you will have no problems using the Disability Access Service and Rider Switch service together while you visit. Simply alert the Cast Member at the attraction when you check in for your return time window. After the first adult rides the attraction, just like with rider switch, you will either get a paper FastPass+ for the second adult to experience the attraction or the cast member will guide you to the most convenient entrance for boarding and have your family wait there to ride.

The wonderful Cast Members all throughout the Walt Disney World Resort will make sure you and your family are able to enjoy all the wonderful attractions with ease. So, never hesitate to let them know how they can best help you and they will gladly do their best to make it happen.

One last tip: make sure you create an account with My Disney Experience to help you with your planning. You will be able to see all plans and reservations, and it’s a handy tool to check on your return times for your DAS right on your smart device while on the go!

I hope you have a magical time with your family when you visit! Please do come back and see us again soon!
