I'm traveling with a group of 6, 1 of which is a toddler. If we plan to use the 'babyswap' procedure for a fastpass attraction, will the toddler need a fastpass to enter with us?

    Hi Christy,

Traveling with large groups to the Walt Disney World Resort is so much fun, but it requires a bit more planning. I'm very happy you decided to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask us this question.

Children 3-years old and under, are considered Mickey's Guests and are therefore not required to purchase tickets to enter any of the Disney Theme Parks and Water Parks. As a result, it wouldn't be possible to make FastPass+ ride selections for a toddler, as the child wouldn't have admission tickets to associate with FastPass+ entitlements through My Disney Experience. However, your group can certainly take advantage of the convenience offered by Rider Switch services. Simply go to the entrance of the attraction with your entire group, and ask the Cast Member for a Rider Switch pass.

On a related subject, be sure to read this excellent Disney Parks Blog entry about height requirements for the most popular attractions at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Wishing you a most unforgettable visit filled with memories of a lifetime!
