I'm traveling alone w/ a 2.5 year old and a 1 year old. What are some tips for making sure they get the most out of this trip. This is our first time going to DW.

    Hi Laurynn,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to plan your first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort with your little ones. The fun you will have - I can see it now!

Whatever you do, definitely create a park schedule for each day. Make dining reservations and Fast Pass+ selections that are in close geographic proximity if possible. At Magic Kingdom, for example, you could ride Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Mad Tea Party and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, then go eat lunch at Be Our Guest restaurant. Use the My Disney Experience Mobile App to see estimated walking time between locations - from The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh to Be Our Guest Restaurant is about a two-minute walk (assuming both kids are in a stroller and you can move at grown-up pace!).

Since your kids will probably still need a nap, if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, I suggest heading back to the room right after lunch for a nap. On our girls' first trip, we took a nap every day because we all needed it! After naptime, you can head back to a park or just relax at the resort. Be sure to have quality time at the resort! Our girls love to go to the pool and explore the other resort activities.

Laurynn, make sure you take advantage of the Baby Care Centers in each of the parks. They are just a lovely place to catch your breath or feed your little ones. For more ideas on how to plan the perfect trip, be sure to review the Planning for Pre-school Kids and Little Ones Guide.

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
