    April Asked

Im thinking of going Septembers Labor Day week. It looks really good in price. But what about the weather and crowds?

Hi April! September is a good month to visit Walt Disney World as you will often find great specials at this time. In the past it has been a bit slower since many families don't consider a vacation since kids were all off during the summer and school is back in session.

Labor Day weekend will be busier since locals will come to enjoy the parks or families will look to get one more long weekend trip in before the fall months advance on them. It is certainly not the busiest holiday in the parks so if you come and plan well you can easily enjoy your days. Take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours in all parks and use the Fast Passes that are available to you.

Weather is still quite hot at this time. The humidity can take its toll on many guests so remember to stay hydrated and wear light colored clothing to keep as cool as possible. Unfortunately, the afternoon rain showers are also still on track to hit each day so be sure and bring light rain jackets/ponchos or umbrellas. Don't let these storms stop your fun. Just head inside for an attraction or two until they pass and then continue to enjoy the parks. Many guests turn tail and head back to resorts so the parks can tend to clear out which makes it better of course for you!

Any time is a good time for a Disney visit. Just consider what is most important to you and your family...cooler weather, smaller crowds, holiday fun, etc and pick a date that best fits your needs financially and interests!
