I'm thinking of planning a trip to WDW in April. I have two small children who at the time will be 2yr and 9 months. Would it be worth it to wait another year or would they enjoy it now. Our 2 year old is an extreme Mickey fan.

    Hi Marcia!

My philosophy about Walt Disney World is that a person is never too young to go there!  If your two year old is an extreme Mickey Mouse Fan, then make sure that you have him meet Mickey Mouse and be sure to take lots of photos.  Even if your children don't remember visiting Walt Disney World, you will remember and have the pictures of your trip to show them as they get older.  Making memories with your family is really what Walt Disney World is all about!

With small children, my advice to you is to take the days slow and let your children show you what they are most interested in.  When they are interested in something, then spend some time there.  Keep in mind that the Resort pool may be the highlight of their trip.  Try to keep your kid's normal schedule as much as possible, which includes naps and normal bedtimes.  You will thank me later for this tip because by following this you will avoid some major kid meltdowns.  Also make sure to utilize the Baby Care Centers in each Park.   Click here for the locations of the Baby Care Centers in Walt Disney World.

I hope that you make memories that last a lifetime with your children on your next Walt Disney World vacation!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
