    Aubri from MO Asked

I'm thinking about getting a FP+ for Festival of the Lion King. The app I'm using suggests that we can show up right at show time. Is that how it works or should we still be there early? Does FP allow you to get better seats?

Jambo, Aubri. The Festival of the Lion King is my favorite stage show on Walt Disney World property. The soundtrack from the Lion King continues to be on repeat for my family, but it pales in comparison to the the live performers in Harambe Theatre. Their voices are so commanding and beautiful.

I follow the mantra 'If you're on time, you're late' so I am always at least ten minutes early to anything. Does that mean that you should be early? Not necessarily. Your FastPass+ selection guarantees your seat, so if you show up right at show time you should still be able to make it in the theatre. FastPass+ seating is located closer to the action, but the theatre is circular in shape so there is really not a bad seat in the house. Last December I was able to get into a showing just minutes before show time without using a FastPass+ selection, but I was seated close to the back of the theatre. That was ok by me mostly because I alike watching the audience participation. If floor seats are important to you, I suggest using a FastPass+ selection.

I hope you enjoy the show! If you need anything else, you know where to find us. Have a magical day!
