Mom And Son Safari

I'm taking my 4yr old son (& Grandma) to WDW for the first time in September. I want to "play" in AM, return for a nap, & play again in PM. Which resort - Caribbean Beach or All Star Movie - would be easier on us & more convenient?

    Paige,

Excellent daily schedule. As the parent of a 2 and 4 year old, I know how important it is to pace your kids. Your son will certainly be able to last through the visit better with a schedule that includes that daily nap!

To answer your question, Caribbean Beach is quite a bit more centrally located than the All Star resorts, so you would find that bus transportation times to most of the parks (Animal Kingdom is an exception, as it is very close to the All Star resorts) should be shorter. It is also closer to Downtown Disney.

However you will find that the transportation time savings is not all that notable. If the extra cost of the Moderate resort is significant, consider that the All Stars are a pretty good alternative too. If cost is not an issue, I would of course prefer the Caribbean Beach, for all the added amenities.

    I hope that this helps.

    Have a magical vacation!
