I'm taking a 5 and 3 year old for a week in April. Where can I find a detailed descript of the rides so we can determine which ones would scare the 3 yr old. Both are scared of the dark and the 3 year old is scared of people in costumes example: Pluto etc.

    Hi Donna,

Being prepared is the best thing you can do in planning a Walt Disney World vacation. I would recommend getting a great guide book. While there is lots of information on the internet, you have to do a lot of skipping around. A guide book is all at your fingertips in one great resource. Here are my recommendations:
    • Birnbaum Guides: Walt Disney World - this is the official guide of Walt Disney World Resort and offers great descriptions of attractions, parades, resorts and restaurants, as well as great budget tips and itinerary planning. My kids even love looking at the book! Fun pictures are included, too!
    • PassPorter's Walt Disney World - great tips on simplifying your trip and offers great fold-out maps.
    • The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World - while this is a great resource, this one is VERY detailed and can be a little overwhelming for the first time planner. However, its descriptions are very detailed and could offer some great insight into what you are looking for.
