Hi I'm taking my son and his friend on a cruise in February . I'm buying them Disney gift cards for Christmas. Can they use them on the ship without having anything charged to the room (my credit card!) Thanks Dianne

    Hello Dianne,

Thanks so much for sailing by! What a great mom you are for treating your son and his pal with a Disney Cruise Line vacation!  You will certainly be elevated to new heights of epic "mom-ness" following your voyage!  Disney Cruise Line is cash-less on board.  All charges are sent to a stateroom folio, which must be settled before you disembark.  You can apply the balance of your Disney Gift Cards to your stateroom account to apply toward your outstanding balance at any time during the cruise.  Disney Gift Cards are popular gift in my home for the holidays, birthdays and other celebrations.  When I board, I generally head to Guest Services and apply my gift cards to my account.  My boys then know how much they can "spend" via their Key to the World Card for souvenirs or specialty snacks.

I hope you have a magical sailing!
