I'm taking my 7 & 15 y/o to Magic Kingdom on 5/19. We have 1 day & plan on staying the whole day. Would it would be wise to rent a stroller for the 7 y/o for later in the day, even though he's been out of a stroller for years?

Hi Nicki! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

This is such a great question! I think often times we don’t think about how much walking is actually required when visiting one of the Theme Parks at the Walt Disney World Resort. I also take into account all of the excitement that the kids experience! They are usually over the moon excited to be at Disney and this excitement also uses up a lot of energy.

I can’t tell you how your son will feel by the end of the day but I can tell you that I have an almost six year old high energy son. This kid seems to be able to run circles around other kids his age. However when we are visiting Disney he seems to tire out by the end of the day. On our last trip I did rent a stroller for him. This way he was able to sit and relax whenever he wanted. If he didn’t want the stroller it was a great place to store our backpack and water! The stroller made him a very happy boy and mom was very happy too! Strollers are available for rent at Magic Kingdom and are based on availability. I have not had any issues renting a stroller when I have needed on in the past.

I hope that you have an Unforgettable time on your upcoming visit!
