I'm taking my grandson, 6 years old (I'm female), and I want to know if it's appropriate for him to go to the bathroom with me?

    Hello Kimberly!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you are having a magical week!

It absolutely is appropriate for you to take your grandson in the restrooms with you if that is what makes you feel the most comfortable. I still take my son, who just turned 8, in with me. He is autistic and I just don’t feel 100% he should go in by himself. There are also Baby Care Centers located in each park that provide a more private and calming atmosphere if you prefer as well. Even though the name says “baby” I assure you it is meant for a variety of family dynamics and ages. You may also find some “family” style restrooms throughout the parks.

I hope this helps and let me know if you need anything else as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
