Hi Karie,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to plan a land and sea vacation! Of course, if you have the time and it fits with your budget, I definitely suggest it.
Since you will have just a few days, I recommend that you stay at a resort hotel with monorail access to the parks. Having access to the
resort monorail will save you time. Those resorts include Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Contemporary Resort, Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort along with Disney's Polynesian Villas and Bungalows. We love to stay at Disney's Contemporary Resort because we can walk to Magic Kingdom from there. The walk takes about 10 minutes and is pretty amazing when you are trying to leave Magic Kingdom after the fireworks - just bypass the transportation lines and you will be at the resort in a few minutes!
Karie, with monorail access, you can easily get to Magic Kingdom and Epcot. With three days, I would suggest you do those two parks and spend a day relaxing at the resort hotel. If you stay for four days, you could certainly try to visit three or four parks, but I would suggest spending some significant time relaxing after your cruise. The
deluxe and deluxe villa resort hotels have fantastic amenities.
Be sure to use My Disney Experience to make all of your vacation plans - link your resort hotel reservation and theme park tickets, make Fast Pass+ selections and advanced dining reservations!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
