I'm taking my daughter that is 20 years old. She just finished Cancer treatments and is cancer free but is still very weak. I just need to know what kind of surprise I can do for her while we are their, to make it more special. Thanks

    Hi Lori,

I'm so very glad to hEAR that you are planning a visit to celebrate your daughter's health triumph! As a breast cancer survivor myself, I can completely understand being weak after cancer treatments. If you think she might be unable to wait in a conventional queue environment for long periods of time, then my first recommendation is to stop by Guest Relations to obtain a Disability Access Service card. They are for Guests with a wide variety of needs, including the inability to stand in long lines due to fatigue.

I strongly suggest securing FastPass+ ahead of time too. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you may reserve up to 3 FastPass+ choices for each theme park day. This can be done 60 days in advance of your visit. If you are staying off-property the booking window will open up 30 days earlier. Either way, you can use the FastPass+ service in conjunction with the Disability Access Service card to maximize your daughter's theme park experience. Be sure to book Avatar – Flight of Passage at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park the minute your FastPass+ reservation window opens up!

I know she'll LOVE any one of the blissful body treatments at Senses - A Disney Spa at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. Or book an unforgettable dinner at Victoria & Albert's, a multi-award winning Fine/Signature Dining restaurant at the same resort hotel. Alternatively, consider getting her a My Magical Triumph in-room celebration, which can be customized to celebrate her health triumph.

I hope this information helps you plan a practically perfect in every way pixie-dusted visit to the place where The Magic is Endless!
