Im taking my daughter in Sept. Im just not sure of the dates and wont be until a few days out. I read somewere Disney wont let you book airfare less than 6 days out. Does this hold true for everything or just airfare?

    Hi Amy,

September is a fun time to be traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort as the weather is getting cooler and the crowds are lower.

You are correct that you cannot add airfare if Disney is booking the reservation. You would need to book directly with the airlines as that is the quickest way to secure a last minute seat. Disney will also not be able to add tickets, the Disney Dining Plan, Disney's Magical Express or Memory Maker to your account without at least three days notice.

This means you would need to purchase your tickets separately, skip the Disney Dining Plan and plan for transportation to and from your resort. You would also receive your Magic Bands at the resort without customization.

The more time you can give to planning your trip the easier it will be. Also, Disney generally offers Free Dining which is a big savings but you will need to book with enough time to have that option.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
