I'm going to be taking my 4 children to Disney in June 2015. We are going to stay at one of the suites at Art of Animation. The kitchenette will be of great use. Where can I get the basic groceries? Milk, juice, snacks, cereal, etc? I

    Hey Rebekah-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your June trip to Walt Disney World is going to be filled with magic, fun, adventure and four hungry young tummies. Last summer I stayed for a week at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and it was perfect. There is plenty of space in each room with three beds, one of which converts into a table, two bathrooms (a must for larger families) and a fantastic kitchenette. The Cars, Lion King, Little Mermaid and Finding Nemo themed areas kept my kids entertained for hours. The pools are what they loved the most especially the Big Blue Pool.

This resort has plenty of basic foods that can be purchased in the Landscape of Flavor cafeteria but I would opt for using the Garden Grocer ( You are able to fill your virtual shopping cart and preorder your groceries. They will be delivered to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and the hotel will store it for you until you arrive at the resort. Cold items will be placed in the resort refrigerator or freezer. There is a fantastic variety of cereal, milk, snacks, sweets, meats and cheese. I love using this service because we don’t have to find a grocery store and are not limited by on-property food options.

Please visit again and let us know if there is anything else we can do to help.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
