Hi. I'm surprising my daughter for her 18th birthday in May. We have been to Disney many times and I"m looking to do something extra special. I have dinning reservations at Crystal Palace, she loves Pooh. Any suggestions to make her day more magi

Hello Jennifer and thanks for bringing this great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

An 18th birthday is certainly something to celebrate! I have two suggestions for making your daughter's day even more magical. My first suggestion is a viewing of IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth aboard a Specialty Cruise. You would board your pontoon boat at the Bayside Marina near Disney's Yacht Club Resort.  After a leisurely cruise around Crescent Lake your boat captain would park with a perfect view of IllumiNations.  While all things are subject to change, cruises typically include light snacks and soft drinks. For a small fee you can even have the boat decorated to celebrate your daughters birthday. To inquire about current pricing and availability it is best to call Walt Disney World Recreation at 407-939-7529.   If you want to make the event even more special (hard to believe that is even possible!) you can order Private Dining by calling 407-939-3160.

My second suggestion is an evening at Disney Springs enjoying La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil. Our family went to this amazing show this past summer to celebrate my daughters graduation and it was spectacular!

I hope this helps with your planning.

    See ya real soon!
