    Wanda from IN Asked

I'm sure the question has been asked before, but finding the answer is proving difficult... What time do the food kiosks open during F&W? Is it 11 AM like the rest of World Showcase? Or do they open at 9?

Hey there, Wanda! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Did someone say food kiosks at Epcot for the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival? (Takes off safely and swiftly towards the World Showcase!) Just thinking about this tasty event gives me a rumbly in my tumbly as Pooh would say! I hope you’re ready with your stretchy pants so you can taste your way around the world and not miss one tasty bite.

Wanda, Festival and activities begin at 9:00 a.m. with Park opening. Some of the Global Marketplaces at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will open between 9-11:00 a.m. but not all. By 11:00 a.m. all kiosk should be operating in the World Showcase ready to delight hungry guests! They do close at 9:00 pm, even on days with Extra Magic Hours. So be sure to plan your Marketplace-hop during those hours when you visit.

I was able to visit on opening day and tried for the first time the Pão de Queijo: Brazilian Cheese Bread at the Brazil location and my oh my! I’m definitely going back for more. So tasty! I also tried the Traditional Scottish Lamb Stew with Neeps and Tatties in Scotland and was pleasantly surprised! I couldn’t leave without enjoying something sweet so I ended up trying the Warm Chocolate Pudding with Irish Cream Liqueur Custard from Ireland and my taste buds just had an international party in my mouth! I can’t wait to return and try more tasty dishes!

Before you go, browse the menus online. But be sure not to do so on an empty stomach! Get a plan together so that when you arrive, you can target your wish list. But leave room for more. The smells will get you!

Have fun and don’t forget those stretchy pants!
