I'm staying @ POR the room says PREF next month party of 5 i have an 18 year old boy 12 girl and a 10 year boy wanting to know if this room is large enough for my family thanks again

    Hi Joe,

If I were you, I'd consider different accommodations for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.  My sister has a family of five and she stayed in one of the rooms in the Alligator Bayou section of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside not long ago.  While the resort has a lovely theme, she found the room to be too cramped for her family.  The trundle bed that pulls out for a fifth guest is really designed for a child under 10.  Unless your ten-year-old son is particularly small, I'd be concerned that this space will not provide adequate sleeping space for him.  There is also limited walking space in the room once that trundle is pulled out.

Have you considered one of the family suites at either Disney's All Star Music Resort or Disney's Art of Animation Resort?  These accommodations have room for six.  They also offer a kitchenette and three separate sleeping areas.  The one-bedroom villas at Disney's Old Key West Resort, Bay Lake Tower, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge are spacious rooms that accommodate five guests.  Perhaps one of these would be a better fit for your clan.  Of course, two adjacent standard rooms at any Disney resort would give your family plenty of space to spread out.

Let us know if you'd like more information on any of these resorts.  We'd be happy to help you find a Disney resort that will please your family.
