The fashionable and functional
MagicBand is as stylish as it is convenient for working as your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel room key, charging purchases to your room, scanning for your PhotoPass, and holding your theme park admission tickets and your FastPass+ selections.
Because you'll be staying off-property rather than a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, the room key and purchasing device features won't come into play for you.
You can link your MagicBand with your
My Disney Experience account and it will be convenient for your theme park tickets, your
FastPass+ and your
PhotoPass. Your admission ticket card will work just as well for these uses. So it's simply a question of personal preference. Would you prefer to carry a card and take it out when needed, or wear it on your wrist in the form of MagicBand? You can also carry your MagicBand using one of the
MagicKeepers, and that provides a fun alternative to wearing the band on your wrist.
