Hi, I'm going to be spending my nineteenth birthday at Walt Disney World. My question is I'm in the middle. Not 21 but I am an adult. I love the rides but there is other things I want to experience. I don't want my parents to miss out either. Please help!

I can't think of a better place to spend a 19th birthday than WDW!!  In the middle? Girl, the only thing you'll be in the middle of is in the middle of AWESOME fun! I know you'll be 19 but you'd better pick up a "Happy Birthday" button from Guest Relations - one can never be too old for that. There are so many things for you to do! I'm sure I'll run out of space answering but lets give it a shot!

    • Check out the behind the scene tours to learn how the Imagineers make the magic come together. Backstage Magic is my favorite. Click here for a link to the tours & special experiences.
    • Attend a performance of Cirque Du Soleil
    • Drive or ride in a NASCAR-style Race Car at the Richard Petty Experience
    • Go parasailing, water skiing or other water sports offered at Contemporary Resort
    • Characters in Flight at DTD
    • Treat yourself at one of the fabulous spas
    • Visit the House of Blues - Sunday brunch rocks there!
    • Like to play golf? Disney has great golf courses
    • Fireworks Dessert Party at Magic Kingdom

There are so many incredible restaurants at Disney!  Many are upscale dining locations & offer a more adult setting & feel - especially if you make a later reservation.  A reservation at California Grill atop of the Contemporary Resort to coincide with the fireworks at MK is FABULOUS! For a more festive atmosphere, check out DTD at night.

I didn't include links & phone #'s so I'd have more space. I'm more than happy to assist with any particular experience if you'd like more info.  If you want to give me your dates of travel, I'll see if any special events are going on during that time. Wishing you magical birthday memories :-) Allison
