Im a so-cal resident and was wondering if theres a discount for being a so-cal resident? How much would it cost me for 2 tickets one adult and one 3 year old child? We're planning on going in Mid October for 3 days.

Hey howdy hey, Wendy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I always enjoy helping my fellow Southern Californians find a good deal!

Currently, there aren’t any Disneyland Resort theme-park ticket discounts available to Southern California residents. However, I recommend checking back in January, since that’s normally when the Southern California Resident Ticket Offer returns. This Offer is typically good through the month of May, and is a great value for three days of magic in the parks. The Disney Parks Blog is usually the first to break this exciting news, so stay tuned! In the meantime, you can check the Offers & Discounts page for the latest promotions.

Have you considered an Annual Passport? If you're close enough to visit the parks several times each year, you may want to consider the Disney Southern California Select Annual Passport. This is the pass I currently have, and I love it! To be eligible for this Passport, you must live in ZIP codes 90000-93599. You would also be eligible for the Monthly Payment option! You can also choose to upgrade your theme-park ticket to an Annual Passport, as long as you do so before the end of your visit.

Also, since you’re planning to visit in mid-October, you can also choose to attend Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party in Disney California Adventure Park! This special event requires a separate ticket for admission, and allows you to enter the theme park at 2:00 PM (if you attend October 13, 2019) or 3:00 PM (if you attend October 15 or 17, 2019). The Oogie Boogie Bash runs from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and includes lots of festive fun and happy haunts! From an exclusive World of Color show, Villainous!, to trick-or-treat stations, to the Frightfully Fun Parade, there’s a little something for everyone!

Since your little one is 3-years-old, he or she will require a ticket for the Bash or for the regular theme parks, since pricing begins at age 3. You can price theme-park tickets here, by selecting the number of days you’re attending, followed by the number of tickets needed. You can choose to add Disney MaxPass to your tickets, which allows you to make digital Disney FASTPASS selections directly from your mobile device. I love the convenience of this feature! It also includes unlimited Disney PhotoPass downloads per day, which is a great way to preserve all your magical memories!

Please stop by with any additional questions you may have… I’m all EARs!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for about 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 7, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
