    Natalie from NV Asked

Im a single mom with 4 kids but I want to plan a special trip for just my youngest son and I to celebrate his graduation from hs In May any ideas on how I can make this extra special and any deals I can find

Hi again, Natalie! I can’t think of a better way to celebrate graduating high school than planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!

My first thought is to book at least one really nice meal to celebrate your son’s accomplishments. Carthay Circle Restaurant, Blue Bayou Restaurant, and Napa Rose are all excellent choices for fine dining. Blue Bayou Restaurant is particularly fun because of its outdoors-indoors atmosphere and the boats from Pirates of the Caribbean floating by while you dine. Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance online or by calling (714) 781-3463.

Next, be sure to add Disney MaxPass to your tickets. With MaxPass, you can select FASTPASSES from anywhere in the parks using the Disneyland app. So it will not only save you from waiting in certain standby queues, but will also save you time and energy since you won’t have to visit physical FASTPASS distribution kiosks. Plus, downloads of all your PhotoPass photos captured on a day you use MaxPass are included! You’ll definitely want to capture many moments from this special trip, so having access to these photos is a great perk.

Finally, consider booking a special experience while you are there like Star War: Secrets of the Empire by ILMxLAB and The VOID or the Tomorrowland Skyline Lounge Experience. Both are really unique experiences that are great for young adults. As you plan your trip, keep checking the Offers & Discounts page to see if a promotion comes along that fits your travel dates.

I hope this helps! See ya real soon!
