    Florese from VA Asked

Hello I'm planning on visiting Disney World July 15th until the 21st 4 children 3 adults however my godfather wants to purchase tickets for us but not sure if we'll be able to use them because he's a retired veteran... are we able to?

    Hi Florese!

There are many great discounts for those who actively serve or have served in the military. If your godfather is a retired veteran, he should be able to purchase the discounted tickets. The discounted military ticket is a 4-Day Ticket with Park Hopper option included. You can find this offer  by visiting this page: 2016 Military Discounts for Park Tickets. There is also an offer for discounted resort stays and these can be found be visiting this page: 2016 Military Discounts for Resorts. These offers are available to active or retired members of the U.S. Military or their spouses including the National Guard, Reservists and the U.S. Coast Guard and will require presentation of military identification. I recommend that you contact Guest Services at 1-407-939-2273 if you have any additional questions relating to military discounts and the required identifications needed. Tickets can be purchased at a participating U.S. military base ticket office or in person at either Shades of Green or any ticket window at the theme parks.

Did you know?: Located near Magic Kingdom park, there is a resort called Shades of Green, which is an Armed Forces Recreation Center. While this resort is not owned or operated by the Walt Disney Company, Guests can enjoy benefits such as the Extra Magic Hours. For more information, please visit this page: Shades of Green

If I can assist you with any other planning needs, please feel free to send me your questions!
