Hi I'm planning to visit Walt Disney World in September with my kids ages 14, 13, and 3. Would I be able to see basically everything in 1 day at each park? Or should I try to schedule 1.5 days for each park? Or will some take a shorter time?

    Hi Jessica,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you're having fun planning your fall getaway to the Walt Disney World Resort. You and your Mouseketeers are going to have an AMAZING time!

The incredible thing about "The Most Magical Place on Earth" is that you could spend a year there and still probably not experience everything. You'll find not only attractions, parades, shows, fireworks, character greetings, and delicious restaurants, but also magic and fun in unexpected places. I do think it's possible, though, to experience the highlights of most of the parks in one day. If you have the ability to spend some extra time, you might want some extra time at Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot. A Park Hopper Option ticket will offer you the most flexibility, so if you find that you don't need a full day at one of the theme parks, you can head over to another one. Or if you plan on spending one full day at each theme park, then you could add a fifth or sixth day to hop around and experience anything you missed the first time around or revisit some favorites. As you're thinking through how to plan your visit, be sure to check out some of these wonderful videos, the park hours calendar, and this handy dandy guide to choosing the best ticket for your family. I will say, too, that my family often likes to take a day or two in the middle of our trip to simply sleep in a little and enjoy the pools and other recreational opportunities at our Disney Resort hotel for a change of pace. Tired Mouseketeers and multiple back-to-back full days aren't the most magical mix, and with a little one, you'll definitely want to schedule some time to rest.

I hope this helps as you're planning your trip, Jessica. Please feel free to come back again and ask us more questions about specific theme parks, attractions, Resort hotels, or anything else. We really do love helping Guests plan the same kinds of memorable vacations we enjoy with our own families! I hope that you and your family have a truly magical vacation this fall!
