I’m planning a trip to WDW next October and I was wondering what a good budget would be for souvenirs? We’re planning on buying some before we go like ears and shirts

Hi there, Ciara! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and ask another excellent Walt Disney World Resort question!

Souvenirs are an excellent way to remember many fond memories for years to come! I still have many different souvenirs from my various trips to Walt Disney World Resort displayed around my own home. Whenever I am missing my “home-away-from-home”, I enjoy looking through my souvenirs and recalling all of the fun adventures I’ve had the chance to experience!

Creating a budget for souvenirs is a must-do for me and my family during our vacations! This helps us splurge on certain special items without going overboard. However, developing a souvenir budget is a very individual task. I would recommend checking out the shopDisney webpage prior to your trip. Once there, you can look over the Disney Parks page and make a list of souvenirs you may want to purchase. This can give you a good idea of how much certain items are, even if you end up changing which items you actually end up purchasing! I would also recommend building a bit of extra money into your souvenir budget, just in case you find a surprise “must-have” during your vacation!

I would also suggest downloading the shopDisney app prior to your arrival! This helpful app can actually help you locate certain items within the park during your visit. I’ve used this feature on multiple occasions to locate a certain size of clothing which has saved me quite a bit of time!

I hope this helps you create your own souvenir collection during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
