    Hi, I'm planning a trip to WDW and we are having trouble picking a time, We are stuck between late Aug, second week in sept. or early Nov. Can you tell me which is better for weather,price and crowds? It will also be the first trip for an 11yr old. Thanks

    Hi Jeff!

    Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

    The crowds at Walt Disney World tend to be among their lowest from the week before Labor Day until the start of the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot (this year the dates for this are September 28-November 12).  The crowd levels will be busy during this Festival, but will drop again after November 12 until Thanksgiving week.

    The average high/low temperatures
    for August are 90/73 (average rainfall 5.8 inches);
    for September 90/72 (average rainfall 5.8 inches);
    for November 79/59 (average rainfall 2.3 inches).

    The prices for late August/early September will be in the Value season, among the most affordable for the year.  November rises slightly in price, but is still within the Value season.

    I hope all this information will help you make your decision.  If there are any other questions you have, which will help you decide, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
