Hi! I'm planning a trip for Oct! I'm staying 1 week off disney and one week at a value resort. If I purchase a 6 day ticket with water park, can I start using my tickets before I start staying at disney? How would advanced fast passes work? Thanks!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I like the way you vacation! I would love two weeks in sunny Florida with my trip ending at Walt Disney World Resort.

Your answer depends on how your tickets were purchased. If you purchased your tickets separate from your Value Resort then you may make FastPass+ reservations for 30 days prior to each day you wish to enter a theme park. For example, the first day you wanted to enter a theme park is May 31, 2015, you would be able to schedule FastPass+ reservations May 1, 2015. If you purchased a Magic Your Way Vacation Package which includes lodging and tickets then you will would be allowed to make FastPass+ reservations 60 days prior to your resort check-in and all days of your stay. In the first example you could attend Walt Disney World Resort theme parks during your off-property stay while in the second you could not. FastPass+ reservations help you skip the lines and enjoy the parks on your time. What a great relief!

I hope this helps clear up any confusion. Please feel free to stop by again.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
