I'm planning a trip for May 24-30 to WDW AOA. I love AOA!! Can you tell me the crowd level & weather for this time of the year? Last year I went in Aug & it was just too hot

    Hi Bridget!

Your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World looks like it's going to be an amazing time. We love Disney's Art of Animation. It's one of our favorite Value Resorts and we love to hear the music "under the sea" at The Big Blue Pool. For the time frame of your vacation, you will be enjoying the parks during Memorial Day, one of the busiest times of the year. You can anticipate crowds during that weekend, but after the 26th, there will be more moderate crowds at all of the parks. The May temperatures at Walt Disney World are usually around the 70s or 80s, so you shouldn't have to worry about being uncomfortable.

One suggestion I would give to you is to plan your down time, especially during Memorial Day weekend. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday might be the days that you'll hit the parks early, spend the afternoon at one of the 3 pools at Art of Animation, and spend some time at Downtown Disney. Take in a movie, visit DisneyQuest or The Lego Imagination Center. You could also visit Disney's BoardWalk in the evening and watch all of the awesome street performers, or rent a Surrey Bike.

I hope this answer helps you in your vacation planning, Bridget. If you have any more questions, please feel free to contact us at any time.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
