I'm planning a trip to Disneyland. I have taken my daughter to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Disney World. but I'm seeing differences, like that the photos aren't included in Disneyland the way they are in Disney World. What else is different?

Hi there, Sarah! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question!

My daughter experienced her very first magical makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique during our last visit to the Disneyland Resort. It was truly amazing how quickly and easily the Fairy Godmother-in-training transformed my child into a sparkling princess! From what I understand, the experiences at the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort are fairly similar. In fact, many of the same packages are offered at the exact same prices and the processes are the same. You are correct that the Disneyland Resort does do a few things differently though. First, the PhotoPass photo package complete with a picture taken with Cinderella’s carriage comes with the Castle Package. For any other packages, you can add on this service for an additional fee.

Another difference you will notice is that there are a few unique makeovers offered at the Disneyland Resort. The first is the Minnie Dot Package that has a distinctly Minnie hairstyle and a Minnie tutu in addition to makeup and nail polish. There are also two Frozen Packages that come with an Anna or Elsa hairstyle with a braided hairpiece, an Anna or Elsa costume, makeup, nail polish, and an Olaf plush!

No matter which package you choose, reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance by calling (714) 781-7895. When you arrive for your appointment, you will check in at a small shop just inside Sleeping Beauty Castle and then you will be escorted to the Boutique.

I hope this helps. Have a magnificent time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
