Hello I’m planning a trip to Disney world in Florida with my husband and Two daughter my oldest daughter just got diagnosed with autism I’m worried she won’t hold well in lines does Disney offer a free unlimited fastpast for those children Thank you

Hello, Stephanie, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

With an Autistic stepson myself, I understand your concerns about your daughter's ability to wait in potentially long lines during your vacation. You'll find, though, that Walt Disney World Resort is committed to helping guests with physical and cognitive disabilities experience the Most Magical Place on Earth to its fullest extent.

One way Walt Disney World Resort achieves this goal is through its Disability Access Service (DAS). This Service allows Guests whose disability prevents them from waiting in a conventional queue to obtain a return time comparable to the current wait time for an attraction. These return times are offered for one attraction at a time and will be electronically connected with your Walt Disney World Resort ticket media (either a card or MagicBand). Simply visit a Guest Relations Main Entrance location at any of the Theme Parks to register your family to participate. Once you're registered, the DAS will remain valid for up to 60 days (depending on your Theme Park tickets' validity).

More information about the Disability Access Service (as well as a list of Frequently Asked Questions) is available on the Walt Disney World Resort website. Additionally, you may want to check out the Resource for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder. There are some excellent tips included in this guidebook including how to prepare your daughter for her visit, what to expect when you arrive, and even suggestions for where to take breaks.

I hope these resources will help you and your daughter have a magical vacation! Please let us know if you have more questions.
