Hi there Melanie! How exciting you have already started the planning process for your next Walt Disney World vacation!  I have personally stayed in a Little Mermaid guest room at DIsney's Art of Animation Resort and a Royal Guest Room at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort and loved them both!  If you are planning an extended trip, then I would personally recommend staying at DIsney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort. Although Disney's Art of Animation Resort is whimsical and fun, I personally prefer the relaxing atmosphere, fun recreational activities, and beautiful landscaping that can be found at DIsney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort especially when enjoying an extended trip. One of the differences in the moderate and value resorts is the addition of a slide at the feature pools. Port Orleans Riverside Resort also offers exciting recreational activities such as catch and release fishing, horse-drawn carriage rides, boat rentals, and campfire activities. I also love being able to take the Sassagoula River Cruise to Downtown Disney from this resort location. You honestly can't go wrong with either resort, but I do think your daughter will feel like royalty when staying in a beautiful Royal Guest Room!  I hope this information helps in making your decision. Please don't hesitate to write me back if you have any additional questions that I can assist you with. Best wishes for a magical trip, Melanie!
    Happy Planning,
