I’m planning my trip for dec 2018, I’m traveling with my 5 year old daughter it will be her 1st time, what is the best hotel for our stay and what about character dinning experiences! Plus what parks should I make sure we visit and what activities?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nicole! What a fabulous trip you have coming up! The preschool age is perfect for making the magic as real as possible, and I have lots of ideas for you and your daughter!

If budget is important to you, consider Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, which makes your favorite Disney characters bigger than life. The Little Mermaid Standard rooms are beautiful, with The Lion King family suites being a real treat. I also like Disney’s Contemporary Resort for preschoolers, because of the 5-minute walk to Magic Kingdom Park. For character dining, Cinderella’s Royal Table is the splurge that most covet, with high end dining and princesses galore. For a less expensive but comparative meal, try the breakfast at Akershus in Epcot. My kids adore the Hollywood & Dine Disney Junior Breakfast in Disney’s Hollywood Studios before taking a spin on Toy Story Mania. Another top choice is 1900 Park Fare, when Cinderella visits with her Stepsisters, Stepmother and Prince Charming. (Try the Butternut Squash ravioli on the buffet… YUM!) For your December visit, I would spend most of my time at Magic Kingdom, with a heavy dose of Hollywood Studios for the upcoming Toy Story rides as well as all the Star Wars fun and Little Mermaid Live Show. Top it off with Frozen Ever After in Epcot and perhaps Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and you have a vacation fit for a Princess!

I have so much more to share with you like the perks of a Resort Hotel, the Preschool Guide and other things like Rider Switch. Please visit me again to ask another question since i have a limited answer space; ask many as you like! ~ Lindsey P.
