I'm planning on taking my son to Disney World for his 1st birthday in February. What are somethings he will be able to enjoy and are there any small rides he can ride alone or we can ride together? Where would be a fun place to stay?

    Hi Erica!

You can get more information and trips with traveling with very young guests on this website.  Once you are on that page, you can click on the PDF to the right titled "Attraction Height Requirements".  If you don't see an attraction listed in the file then you and your son can ride together.  As you can see, there are not that many that your son can't ride; Walt Disney World attractions are mostly designed to be enjoyed by the entire family.

If your budget allows, then a fun place to stay is on the Magic Kingdom monorail line.  It allows easy access back to your hotel room for a nap, to relax, etc.  My favorite monorail resort is the Polynesian.  A less expensive Disney Deluxe Resort is the Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge.  Animal Kingdom Lodge is fabulous, but has a remote location on property and takes longer to return to unless you have your own car.

Good luck with your decision and write back if you have any more questions.
