I'm planning to surprise my bf with a trip to WDW b/c he's never been. We're in College so the best time for us would be Spring, Summer or Christmas break. I want to visit every park to make it extra magical for him. Which is the best for weather/crowd?

    Caitlyn:

If best to you means a low crowd and nice weather, it's an easy choice: definitely scratch summer, skip spring break and come as early as you can in your Christmas break.

My family has visited Disney three times from about mid-December up until about December 20 and the weather has been pleasant (with only a coat at night--and then not every night), and the crowds much more manageable than what I've found in the Spring and Summer.

Keep in mind that the closer you get to the weekend before Christmas, the busier the parks will get.  And the largest crowd of the year comes during the week between Christmas and New Year....However, if your college break was anything like mine, you probably get out earlier than just a few days before Christmas, so my advice is to head to Disney as soon as you close the books on your exams and leave Disney with several days to spare to get home and get ready for a relaxed Christmas with your family!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
