Hello. I'm planning my second trip to WDW. My last trip was two and a half years ago. I still have my old magic bands and they are active on my account. But I want new ones. Do I get new magic bands with my reservation package?

    Hi Diana,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I bet you're excited already about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation; I find myself counting down the days each time I have one planned with my family.

Each person included on your Walt Disney World Resort reservation is entitled to a MagicBand; once you have made your resort reservation, go on into My Disney Experience with your reservation number and link your reservation to your account. Once you have completed the linking, you may choose a MagicBand from one of eight fun colors and may include up to nine characters of personalization on the back of the band. Feel free to bring your old bands with you if you so choose; if the batteries in them are still working, they should be linked to your My Disney Experience account and will work throughout the Walt Disney World Resort during your stay.

Just in case the bands offered with your resort stay aren't your style, know that there are many different MagicBands for sale throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. I love being able to use the Shop Parks app from my smartphone to not only browse through what's currently being offered, but to locate where specific items are for sale throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.

Diana, I hope you and your family band together and have a magical vacation!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
