I'm planning on purchasing the maxpass for my family. My youngest is 2 and she does not need a ticket to enter the park. Do I need to purchase her a maxpass in order for her to get on the rides with us?

    Hi, Natasha!

Having a 2 year old is the best. In their eyes, everything is so magical at this age. You just never know what characters, attractions, or lights will make them squeal with delight! And the very best part of a 2 year old: Kids under the age of 3 do not need a theme park ticket. That's right, FREE!

Since your little Mouseketeer will not have a park ticket, she will not need FASTPASS (or Disney MaxPass if you make that upgrade). She can simply tag along with the family for whatever FASTPASS selections you have made.

Although she will not need a theme park ticket, please include her in any dining reservations you make. This will ensure you have a table big enough to comfortably seat your entire party. Your princess can share off your plate for no additional charge or kids meals can purchased at menu price.

Don't forget to rent a stroller or bring yours from home. There is a lot of walking, and after a  long day at Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, a rest in stroller will be welcomed by your daughter. Lots of strollers look alike, so mark yours with a ribbon or balloon to easily identify it.

Wishing you and your family a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
