I'm planning a mid Jan., Contemporary stay. I've seen recent fall/winter 15-30% off deals. If I book now & then later such deals are announced, am I "locked in" to the higher rate? Is a deposit reqd at booking? How much? Will I lose my dep

    Hi there, Benjamin!

If you are booking through the Walt Disney Travel Company, you can make any number of reservation changes without incurring any penalty up to 45 days prior to your trip.

In that 45-day window, there is usually a fee assessed, and that fee is determined by the package you have purchased.

If a deal is released and you'd like to take advantage of it, simply call the travel professionals at (407) W-DISNEY and have the Cast Member assisting you check both eligibility and availability.

While more often than not, you will be able to make a change to your reservation without much effort, you'll need to ensure that the change you make meets the requirements of the current promotion. If it will not, the Cast Member will work with you to modify your reservation to meet any requirements.

The booking deposit is also contingent upon the type of package that you book, and can range from paying the equivalent of one night's stay to $200 per person on the reservation.

If I can help you with any of your planning, please drop me a line.

    Have a great trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
