I'm planning on making dinner reservations for a few of the nights. It will be my husband, my 5 yo DS, myself and my 14 month old DD. When making them should I ask for a table of 4 or 3? She isn't included in our meal plan and will eat off our plates.

Hi Carrie, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Deciding where to eat is one of the really fun parts of making plans for Walt Disney World. Should we do a character meal? All-you-care-to-eat buffet or family-style service? How about a dinner show? We have so many favorites, it can be hard to choose. One thing I do know, though, whatever we decide, we'll enjoy a great meal!

When you make your reservations, you'll count your little princess as part of your party even though you won't need to pay for her meal. Including each person regardless of age helps ensure that the restaurant provides the right amount of space for you, and helps them be aware of their total capacity at any given time. It's good for planning, and ultimately results in a better experience for you.

Dining at Walt Disney World is almost an attraction in itself, Carrie. I hope you and your family enjoy your tasty adventure. Please stop by and see us again if we can answer any more questions.

    Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
