Hi! I'm planning to go to Disneyworld to celebrate my 40th (ack!) birthday in late Oct. What once in a lifetime experience would you recommend? We will be travelling without children where would u recommend to dine for the commiseration I mean celebration?

Happy Early Birthday, Lisa! I think Walt Disney World is the perfect place to mark such a momentous occasion. What better way to "feel like a kid," than at this magical location.

First and foremost, if your budget allows, I would try to book a reservation at Victoria & Albert's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. This AAA 5-Diamond fine dining restaurant is absolutely amazing. My husband and I dined here on our honeymoon and it has to be some of the best cuisine I have ever eaten in my life! The service is outstanding and the atmosphere is simply stunning in elegance and grandeur. For an even more special experience, try to book the chef's table. This exclusive booking is limited to only one party each evening. To book your reservation, call (407) WDW-DVNA (939-3862) as soon as possible. This location is very popular and could book up quickly. Other restaurants that are wonderful and might be the perfect spot to celebrate are Le Cellier in Canada at Epcot, Monsieur Paul in Italy at Epcot, or Narcoossee's, also at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. Be sure to mention that it is your birthday. If you are looking for an experience beyond a great place to dine, I would recommend doing one of the fantastic backstage tours, such as the Keys to the Kingdom Tour or Walt Disney: Marceline to Magic Kingdom Tour. These offer an interesting and one of a kind perspective into how these theme parks came to be. To book a tour, call (407) WDW-TOUR (939-8687). Lastly, one of my favorite and thrilling activities that I have ever done there is parasailing with Sammy Duvall's Watersports at Disney's Contemporary Resort. You will have the most awesome view of Magic Kingdom and the surrounding areas. Believe it or not, it is extremely peaceful up there.

    Have fun!
