I'm planning our first (and probably only) trip to Disney World with my 9yo son and 6yo daughter. I would like to arrange a princess meal for her. What are my choices? I am overwhelmed with the planning process right now. Any good ideas for my 9yo boy?

    Hi Laura,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! A first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is so exciting; there's nothing quite like that first walk down Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom Park and taking in the sight of Cinderella Castle.

For your little princess, I recommend the Character Dining Experience at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot. The menu is fantastic and enjoying a 'royal" meal there is a wonderful way to meet a lot of your favorite Princesses in one location. Your daughter will have the opportunity to get autographs and take photos with the Princesses and also participate in a "mini" Parade around the Restaurant with them.

As far as your young Prince goes, I suggest the Character Dining Experience at Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. The menu features both American fare and African inspired dishes. Safari Donald and classic Disney friends will make an appearance during your meal; it's the perfect way to add extra magic to your day on the savanna!

I hope these suggestions are helpful in your planning. Please visit us again should you have any more questions.

    Enjoy your magical visit,
    Susan
