Hi, I'm planning my first ever trip to Disney!! I'm thinking the second week of February 2014 is the time we want to go. I'm planning on staying at Pop Century and getting a Disney package. When should I book this? When should I book my flight? Thanks!!

Hello, Jen!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

Yes!  I simply love hearing from guests who are about to book their first ever Walt Disney World Resort vacation. You and your family are about to experience what the MAGIC is all about!  Oh, the excitement begins the moment you book your resort room, so let's get started.

Guests can start booking room-only reservations at least 499 days in advance.  You can do this by calling (407)939-7675.  In the past, the new package rates were released in August, but last year the new rates for packages were released in June.  So, with all this being said, I would book your room soon and then call again this summer to book your package which can also include air fare (usually 11 months in advance).

Please come and visit with me again as you continue with your planning.  I would love to offer you some great tips and advice for your first ever Walt Disney World Resort vacation.  We want to make sure that this vacation is filled with many MAGICAL memories!  I am so thrilled for you!
