I'm planning our first Disney trip in October. What are the pros and cons of getting our flights as part of our package? Thanks!

    Hello, Sara!!

I am SO excited you are planning your very first Walt Disney World vacation!  The month of October is a GREAT time to visit the most MAGICAL place on earth! I promise you are going to have a unforgettable time!

From my experience and research, I would say the advantages of booking your flights as part of your Walt Disney World package are the following:

    1. You are using a one-stop-shop to book all of your travel arrangements instead of booking everything separately. This will save you time and energy having a Cast Member book your flights, allowing you to plan other aspects of your vacation.
    2. Booking your whole vacation package, including flights, through Walt Disney World automatically links all of your reservations together.  You will not have to worry about calling Disney's Magical Express to give them your flight information. Everything will be done for you.

I would say the biggest disadvantage is the following:

    1. You may lose the flexibility to book the best departure time to leave or to travel from the most convenient airport.

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask.  We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!!
