    Patricia from AZ Asked

Hi! I'm planning my family's trip to Disneyland next spring. Probably April or May. Are all the Disney characters out at the park all year? Will the Big Hero 6 characters ever be at the Disneyland location? Thanks!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Patricia. Thanks for stopping by with your questions about Disney Characters. I'm so glad to hear you'll be heading to the Happiest Place on Earth next spring.

You'll definitely see Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, and Donald during your upcoming trip. There are also other characters who are often scheduled to be in "lands" specific to them. For example, you'll find Tow Mater and Lightning McQueen in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park, and Pooh Bear and Eeyore at Critter Country at Disneyland Park.

Be sure to download the Disneyland mobile app onto your phone prior to arriving at the parks. You'll be able to find details on Character Meet and Greets right at your finger tips! You can also inquire at City Hall on Main Street U.S.A. in Disneyland Park to see who else may be making surprise visits that day.

I regret to inform you that at this time, Big Hero 6 characters are no longer at the Disneyland Resort. Our family loves Baymax and my kids are looking forward to meeting (and hugging) him soon on our upcoming trip to Epcot in Orlando, Florida!

I hope this information is helpful for you. If you have further trip planning questions, please visit us on the Panel again.

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

I am a wife and mother to 2 children, a 14 year old daughter and 9 year old son. I have always enjoyed going to Disneyland Resort as a child and now that I am a mother, I love watching my children experience Disneyland Resort through their eyes. It is a true delight seeing my daughter wear a ball gown walking side by side with Cinderella or my son jumping gleefully after he defeated Darth Maul in a light saber duel! Learn More About Kiki
