Hi there, I'm planning a family trip to WDW (grandma, grandpa, us, 4yr old and 6yr old)...Thinking of April 2017 or May 2017. Any advice as to when we should go? Also prefer less busy if that's possible! Thanks:)

    Hi Kiyomi!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. It is a good one! Walt Disney World Guests are always curious about which times of year are the least crowded at the Parks. Although it is tough to predict exactly, crowd size usually goes along with school calendars. For example, holidays and school breaks usually increase the number of people visiting the Parks. Since you are looking at April and May, I would be aware of Spring Break and plan accordingly.

There are a few things you can take advantage of that will help your Walt Disney World vacation be fantastic no matter what the crowd size is. Extra Magic Hours are available to Guests of Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and allow entrance to the Parks during certain hours of every day when they are not open to the public. Planning ahead with FastPass+ choices and Advanced Dining Reservations are other ways to get the very most out of your visit and spend the least amount of time as possible in lines. I think you'll agree that Disney has thought of everything when it comes to enjoying your magical visit!

Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help with your planning.

    Have a fantastic day!
