I'm planning a family trip for late September and trying to decide where to stay. It'll be me, hubby, 2yr old dd and grandma. (my mom) We want two adjoined rooms, kid friendly activities, and a pool. Looking at the moderate resorts. Any ideas?

    Hello Shilpi!

When my family travels with my Husband's Mother we enjoy staying at Port Orleans French Quarter or Port Orleans Riverside.

These sister Resorts are lovely and have, in my opinion, the most beautiful grounds of any Disney World Resort. There are kiddie pools and playgrounds for your little one to enjoy. Another  wonderful perk to choosing to stay at one of these Resorts is that your family can hop on a boat that takes you down the lazy river straight to Downtown Disney.  Riverside is the larger Resort, but the pools and playground are more popular there.

Remember to request adjoining rooms when you make your reservation. They will tell you that they can't guarantee the request, but in our experience we've never had a problem getting this. The kids love being able to pop in from Grandma's room to our room during the vacation.

I hope that you have a wonderful trip with your Mom, Husband and Daughter and that you make many special memories full of Pixie Dust!
