I'm planning a family trip in Dec 2012 on the Dec 19th Disney Bahama cruise, and I want to add a 4 night resort stay before our cruise, visiting the parks on the 16,17&18th. How busy should the parks be during this time and is 3 days enough to see all

    Hi, Shauna!

You have the makings for a fabulous land and sea adventure at Walt Disney World and on a Disney ship! The week after Thanksgiving is probably one of the slowest times for crowds in the parks, and as the time grows closer to Christmas, the crowds pick up considerably -- with the week of and after Christmas being of the busiest times of the year. So, in mid-December, you'll probably experience moderate crowd levels.

For me, there is no such thing as enough time to do and see it all on a Disney cruise.  I guess that's why I keep sailing with Mickey! A 3-night Disney cruise is better than none it all -- but I always encourage my friends and family to book as long of a cruise as your calendar and wallet will allow. So, if you're limited by your schedule or your budget, consider this 3-day cruise a time to whet your appetite and make plans to book a subsequent cruise while you're onboard.  You'll be able to take advantage of significant savings and incentives by booking a Disney cruise before you debark.

I hope I've helped navigate you in the right direction, and please let me know if you think of other questions for me. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
