hi i'm planning to have my daughters sweet 16 next year and we are doing EARLY planning cause we want it to be perfect i'm thinking of having it at a walt disney resort but i don't know how to plan it and it will be at least for 100 people also , thanks :)

Wow this sounds like it will be quite a wonderful celebration for your daughter's Sweet 16!  You will find that early planning will make all the difference in the world and will allow you to secure the locations that work best for you for the party.  I planned a wedding for 250 guests so I know this can be a daunting chore but it is one that I enjoyed every bit of the planning way!

First I would call the Disney Group Sales number.  407-828-3200  They can help you block rooms and choose the resort that would be best for pricing and also for the location for the party. They will then guide you to the representatives who will help with planning for the event.

There are many great party opportunities at Walt Disney World.  We used the Hollywood Studios for one during the wedding.  Parties held at parks must be held at off hours and will tend to be more expensive then holding one at a resort ballroom.  If you choose to go with a resort there are many great things you can do to theme it and will work with the entertainment cast members as well as the florists. Alice In Wonderland is just one thought for a theme for a Sweet 16. Contact the Disney Event group for more information about planning a large personal gathering.  www.disneyeventgroup.com or 407-827-1063.

If you dream it, it most likely can happen at Walt Disney World.
