I'm planning a cruise for Mar 2015. I am on the Dream Oct 2014. If I book for March now, can I get the price adjusted at the future cruise desk in Oct? Should I book now or wait until Oct to get the best price and perks? Thanks and love your advice.

Welcome aboard, Barbara! My family loves to take advantage of the onboard booking perks at the Future Cruise sales desk so that we can save a bit of money as we plan our next Disney Cruise Line adventure, so I'm glad you're considering this too.

The perks and restrictions for this onboard booking have changed a bit in the past few months, so you'll want to be aware that there are now some blackout dates for sailings that won't be eligible for onboard booking perks. You mentioned you want to sail in March of 2015. The following March 2015 dates are not eligible for the onboard booking offers:

    Disney Fantasy: 3/28
    Disney Dream: 3/30
    Disney Wonder: 3/29
    Disney Magic: 3/29

This is always subject to change, so before you plan on booking onboard, you might give Disney Cruise Line's agents a call at 800-951-3532 just to confirm onboard booking perks. If those dates are not when you want to sail, then it is a great idea to wait and book your next cruise onboard. However, if your preferred date is one of those March blacked out dates, book it now so you can grab a room in case the price increases.

Unfortunately, the perks of onboard booking are only applicable to new bookings, not a cruise you already have booked. I hope those details help as you continue to plan both of these magical sailings, Barbara! Stop back if you have other questions before you set sail!
